The wedding was held at the Davis Bourne Inn, a beautiful Civil War-era house about a twenty minute drive from us; and I must say, at this point, that the people there were simply magnificent to us. We were the first wedding held there since the new owners bought the place, and I think they and the staff were nearly as excited as we were. Also, about a quarter of the staff turned out to be childhood playmates of Kat's. But that's another story.
