The Mystery Fever has left me, although my body is still throwing the occasional hissy fit to make sure I don't get complacent. And, by some miracle, we managed to vacate the office on time and leave it in decent shape for the next guy. So that's good.

Of course, I leave for Virginia in three days, but I'm trying not to think about that.

Instead I'm crammed into the corner where we set up my computer (since we don't have the office anymore) trying to convince myself that getting back to work on the novel revision is a better use of my time than, say, playing video games, and grandly ignoring the fact that unearthing the bed from the piles of stuff we shifted onto it in the course of moving would be a better thing to do than both.

It's all about finding the middle ground, some days.

Type-In Revisions: 66 pages (of 385) (last Thursday's progress, sadly)
Word Count, Original and Current: 118,040 / 119,860
Notes: I have a vague memory of replacing huge swathes of scene with huge swathes of new scene - but four days is a long time ago for my memory, so don't quote me on that.
