Thanksgiving isn't my favorite holiday - Christmas wins, I'm afraid - but it's awefully close. Who can argue with a holiday devoted to eating?

Anyway, I've had a great time - plenty of quality time with my family - we had a *huge* Thanksgiving dinner at Granny's then went home and drank lots of alcohol and played Dairyopoly, the Monopoly variant some joker stuck us with a few years ago. I was the first one out of the game. Capitalism is just not my strong point (well, the fact that I'd had a shotglass full of moonshine, a Quick Fuck [the drink, of course; I should be so lucky], a Mudslide, a Screwdriver, and a White Russian in a fairly short timespan probably didn't help.) My ever-lovin' father won and was very loud and immature about it. Good game.

I also caught up on Farscape, which a friend had been so kind as to lend me his tapes of. Augh! You call that a season hiatus ep? I don't call that a season hiatus ep! That was the Evil Cliffhanger From Hell. Jeez. What a great series.

As a side note, if you're an executive in any way involved in the Sci Fi Channel, and you had anything to do with cancelling Farscape's fifth season, you're going to rot in hell. I just thought you should know.

I spent most of the rest of the break, predictably enough, catching up on my schoolwork. Only three more weeks. Only three more weeks. Only three more weeks. And being fed. Mom thinks I've lost weight again and set out on a mission to feed me up. WHOOHOO! Yes, America, I *am* a college student, and my stomach *is* the most important organ of my body.
