I grew up on a dairy farm in Southwestern Virginia and attended college for three years in Asheville, North Carolina; I've spent a year studying abroad in New Zealand, five months working on a dairy farm in Wales, and six months over two summers living in Canada with my boyfriend Dan; I've written a science fiction novel, Anagenesis, which has pretty well made the rounds of publishers and agents, and I've recently finished a science fiction murder mystery, Harmony Station, which is making the rounds. Now I'm working on A Journey in Twilight, a young adult novel somewhere between science fiction and fantasy.

I currently work on my family farm, writing in my spare time. I read a lot. I have a tendency to greet dogs and forget to do the same to their owners.

The rest you can figure out on your own.
